Contracts Drafting, Review, Revision & Negotiation
1
Contract Drafting
If your business provides a product or service the best thing that you can do for your business is to create a standard service agreement. Utilizing a standard contract can reduce the time it takes for your business to get the documents signed when finding or securing a new business deal. OLC helps to draft your standard agreements to create an efficient process when transacting with third parties, and to have a standard contract you can rely on.
2
Contract Review
If your business is presented with a contract to sign, either from another business or a consumer, you want to be able to make sure that the contract accurately sets forth the deal you just spoke about. Too often people sign contracts thinking "everything we talked about is in there" or "he said this, she said that before we signed" but if the contract doesn't have it in writing, it doesn't matter who promised what. On top of that, having a lawyer review the legal terms of the contract can help your business make a better decision on how much to spend during the deal or how much to request from the other business.
3
Contract Revision
Sometimes a contract just needs to be touched up: making the sure the right legal entity is listed on the contract, cleaning up typos, or whatever the case may be. Other times, the terms need to be substantially revised in order to protect your business. Most businesses you are transacting with have a lawyer on their team and their job is to sneak in contract provisions that only help the other business. Level the playing field by having your own lawyer revise the terms of the contract to balance the terms or, even better, have the terms favor you instead.
4
Contract Negotiation
You've done the hard part of getting the deal put together. Business "X" agreed on the costs and the services to be included. But now you need to make sure the contract works to protect and promote your business. The Oozoonian Law Corporation will suggest redlines into the contract and then communicate with the other side on your behalf so that you can focus on your business and let your lawyers handle the contracts.
Business Litigation
When the person you signed a contract with doesn't perform as required by the contract that you both signed, it's time to partner with Oozoonian Law Corporation's litigation department.

Litigation is an unfortunate step to conflict resolution because it can become quite costly and adversarial. However, it is the most effective to resolve conflicts when you have tried to communicate in good faith with the breaching party.
Fortunately, you had Oozoonian Law review and recommend that your contract include an Attorney's Fees clause which (generally) allows you, as the winning party, to recover the money spent in litigation from the losing party.

Oozoonian Law starts by sending a strong demand letter to the other side to make one last attempt to resolve that essentially provides a final warning to do what they are supposed to do, or a lawsuit will be filed.

Oozoonian Law will then move to draft and file a lawsuit with the appropriate court. From there, our skilled lawyers will utilize pre-trial civil procedure and discovery to obtain evidence and build the strongest case possible.
Litigation can be extremely stressful. Thankfully, each of our clients have expressed that teaming with Oozoonian Law helped alleviate the stress and establish confidence in the judicial system.

Don't let the other party take advantage of your business.
